Developing Real Leaders Using Action Learning Systems

Real tangible business value only comes from creative, talented, and focused employees. Action Learning can help develop high quality staff and visionary leaders through cycles of planning, acting, observin, and reflecting.

Action learning is being used in corporations all over the world. Businesses are sick of discussing abstract cases that tell what happened in another business somewhere else in the world. They want to learn – but do it while working on their own business. Action learning helps executives learn on-the-job. This approach has worked well for companies like G.E., Nike, Tektronik, EDS, Shell, Citibank, Johnson & Johnson and Ameritech.

The action learning process is about continuous learning. Most projects would involve at least three cycles of dream, dialogue, diagnose, develop, deliver, discover, and dream again (starting the learning cycle all over again).
